Before you book your session, we'll have a quick 15 min. phone call or Face time call consult. This is a great time for us to get to know each other and for me to get to know what you're looking for for your boudoir session. Because boudoir is such an intimate type of photo sessions, it's important that everyone's on the same page and that that we get to know each other from the get-go. It makes things easier.
After you book, this is the time where we'll plan alll of the logistics. I'll give you outfit ideas, go makeup choices, choose a shoot location, and a date. Don't worry if you have no idea what you're doing, because most (all) people don't. It's not everyday you plan to be half naked in front of a camera. I know it's overwhelming and kinda nerve wracking, but I'm there with you at every single step.
Hair and Makeup
Hair and Makeup comes with every session because it'll make you feel like a confident badass. It's not because I think that you need it. It's like getting pampered. You can choose to go all out with a heavier look or choose to go with a natural. It's entirely up to the look that you're going for and both are great options. Most of my clients opt for a heavier, glam look. The hair and makeup artists that I work with are the BEST around. While getting your hair and makeup done, it'll be a chance for you to relax, drink some champagne, and get comfortable with me and the space before your shoot.
The shoot is really not as intimidating as you think it would be. I basically direct you into poses or demonstrate exactly what to do, from your facial expression down to your toes. Shoots usually lasts around 1.5 hours, but this can depend on which package you choose. We'll take a water break or two during this time to make sure that you stay relaxed. My number one goal (besides getting great photos) is making sure you're feelin' comfortable and confident the whole time.
