Saying F off to Beauty Standards is a Revolution

Aren’t we all so freakin’ tired of beauty standards?

Aren’t we all so truly EXHAUSTED from being told (explicitly, subconsciously, whatever) that we’re supposed to be a certain way?

Is it not slowly draining our souls to be told all the things that are wrong with us? Things we didn’t even think about before someone else mentioned a way to ‘fix’ it?

We as women can’t even grow old without fear of LOOKING old.

We can’t have babies without being told that our bodies look wrong after bringing a soul into the world.

We dress, and put on makeup, and act in a specific way so that we aren’t judged.

We are sold and put so much shit on our faces and bodies to hopefully become more and more perfect.

How many times have you caught yourself unable to be present because you’re so focused on how you’re presenting?

It’s time to say fuck off and just live. There’s no other way to say it but FUCK IT.

Life is too short. It’s a finish line you will NEVER cross considering nobody is perfect, we all have imperfections, and even those who society deems ‘perfect’ - don’t feel the same about themselves.

It’s time to live just to live. Just to feel joy, love and connection.

Self love and self acceptance is not just a silly thing that people say. It quite LITERALLY a revolution for women everywhere.

When you focus on your own self love and live life how YOU want, women you know, raise, and connect with will feel safer to do the same.

It’s a revolution for the future generations of women that says - being a woman looks like whatever you want it to.

You are your own beauty standard. You set it. You ARE the one and only. Your uniqueness is so f’n magic.
